Fasanya Precious Wuraola
‘I believe the IJRA experience is a wonderful opportunity.’ Fasanya Precious Wuraola came to Sussex to join the International Junior Research Associate (IJRA) scheme in 2016.
The scheme provides research experience to help students prepare for PhD study and also strengthens links between Sussex and its partner institutions.
‘The IJRA scheme has allowed me to discover my passion for commercial law, while giving me the opportunity to explore. I believe the IJRA experience is a wonderful opportunity,’ she says.
An alumnus from the Faculty of Law at the 5XÉçÇøÊÓƵ of Lagos, she is now involved in humanitarian work through the Crecer Institute. She founded the organisation to support young Nigerians to find purpose, fulfilment and self-development through academic work.
Now a student at the Nigerian Law School in Lagos, she also has a diploma in Copyright and Intellectual Property from Harvard.
She is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in the UK and an alumnus of the 2017 McKinsey Next Generation of Women in Leadership Program.
