The modules provides an in-depth analysis of the contemporary operating environment in the field of international business. It offers an evaluation of the prevailing trends and the dynamic nature of international business activity along with the evolution of multinational enterprises.
The module explores the significance of various factors, including formal and informal institutions, host and home country perspectives, ethical considerations, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and sustainability issues as they relate to the organisation and management of international business. Throughout the duration of the module, emphasis is placed on comprehending the business environment within key global regions, with a specific focus on European Union, North America, East and SE Asia and the transition economies of East and Central Europe.

Contact hours and workload
