Making Performance: Practitioners (Q3107)

Autumn teaching
On this module, you’ll get introduced to a range of approaches in contemporary performance practice. You’ll focus on a number of companies and artists. These will be used as case studies at a practical and theoretical level.
Topics will include new strategies in composition/devising and collaborative methodologies. The module culminates with the performance of collectively devised short pieces.

- research skills, especially into histories of contemporary performance.

Contact hours and workload
This module is approximately 300 hours of work. This breaks down into about 48 hours of contact time and about 252 hours of independent study. The 5X社区视频 may make minor variations to the contact hours for operational reasons, including timetabling requirements.
