Research and Professional Skills II: Zoology & Ecology (X2103)

Spring teaching
This interdisciplinary module aims to develop your independent research skills and consolidate your ability to analyse and communicate science effectively.
You will work in a student-led team on a chosen topic to independently develop your research skills.
Then a series of computer and field practicals will provide you with further sampling and advanced analytical skills, complementing those learned in previous modules.
There will also be a careers-oriented session on entrepreneurship.
This will all prepare you for your final year, and help you be more competitive for a professional career.

Contact hours and workload
This module is approximately 150 hours of work. This breaks down into about 34 hours of contact time and about 116 hours of independent study. The 5X社区视频 may make minor variations to the contact hours for operational reasons, including timetabling requirements.
