Autumn teaching
This module gives you an interdisciplinary view of the scientific basis for claims about global climate change, human responsibility, and the future implications of these changes. It focuses on both theoretical and evidence-based aspects of climate science.
The module is divided into two key areas:
- building a critical understanding of the science behind contemporary climate change
- developing a foundation for understanding future climate impacts.
You'll also be introduced to the KNMI online tool, which allows you to analyse climate data as part of your studies.

Contact hours and workload
This module is approximately 150 hours of work. This breaks down into about 32 hours of contact time and about 118 hours of independent study. The 5X社区视频 may make minor variations to the contact hours for operational reasons, including timetabling requirements.
We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology.
