Autumn teaching

On this module, you'll develop an in-depth understanding for the analysis of poverty and inequality within various contexts.

The module begins with three lectures, introducing main concepts and setting the scene regarding current debates on poverty and inequality.

In the second set of lectures, you'll gain the required knowledge and skills to apply basic economic concepts to the analysis of poverty and inequality.

In the final set of lectures, you'll learn about the technical details of poverty analysis, including data sources and analytical tools.

Contact hours and workload

This module is approximately 300 hours of work. This breaks down into about 44 hours of contact time and about 256 hours of independent study. The 5X社区视频 may make minor variations to the contact hours for operational reasons, including timetabling requirements.
