Autumn teaching

On this module, you will study qualitative methods and empirical design emphasising the theoretical and epistemological assumptions behind use of qualitative and quantitative techniques. By doing this, you'll develop the skills necessary to become a competent researcher in your discipline.

This module offers an overview of the research process and potential challenges in research design. By thinking about broader issues in empirical research, you will consider how you may wish to develop your research skills and knowledge.
