Programming and Policy Analysis (860L1)

Autumn teaching
This module introduces you to advanced programming and its applications to range of relevant disciplines using Matlab, Python, Julia, and R.
You will also look at data scraping methods, text analysis, and the HPC cluster. This module will introduce you to methods and applications of programming for policy analysis.

Contact hours and workload
This module is approximately 150 hours of work. This breaks down into about 30 hours of contact time and about 120 hours of independent study. The 5X社区视频 may make minor variations to the contact hours for operational reasons, including timetabling requirements.
