Psychology and the Future of Children's Services (316C8)

Spring teaching
In this module, you will explore the current issues and themes in developmental psychology within the context of children’s services.
You will engage with the research, policy, and practice that surrounds children’s services. You will also collaborate with other students to bring together your knowledge of child development practice and theory, designing a course of action to improve outcomes in a particular area.
This could involve topics such as:
- what features make the optimal classroom
- how to design interventions to improve outcomes for vulnerable children.

Contact hours and workload
This module is approximately 150 hours of work. This breaks down into about 22 hours of contact time and about 128 hours of independent study. The 5X社区视频 may make minor variations to the contact hours for operational reasons, including timetabling requirements.
