Spring teaching

You are required to carry out an independent piece of research from development of a research proposal to the planning, execution, analysis and interpretation of a complete study. You will be assigned to a supervisor to help develop, execute and write-up a 10,000 word Dissertation. You are expected to draw on your entire training in the MSc Occupational/Organizational Psychology course, as well as expand your in-depth understanding of theory and research around your selected topic through independent study. The dissertation research must include primary data collection via participants, submission of an ethical approval form, and a personal reflection. The relevance of findings for organizations, individuals and/or policy makers must be considered.

Contact hours and workload

This module is approximately 450 hours of work. This breaks down into about 6 hours of contact time and about 444 hours of independent study. The 5X社区视频 may make minor variations to the contact hours for operational reasons, including timetabling requirements.

We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We鈥檙e planning to run these modules in the academic year 2024/25. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum.
