Empirical Project in Consumer Psychology (309C8)
45 credits, Level 7 (Masters)
Spring and summer teaching
The main aim of this module is to enable students to undertake an independent research project. Students will be involved in the design and execution of a substantial piece of empirical research on a topic that is relevant to their course. Students will need to critically survey and identify relevant theories and models and then to employ them to make recommendations for problem solutions. The dissertation will consist of a research report detailing the project that has been carried out.
Timetabled briefing and preparation sessions will take place in semester 2 (Spring). These sessions are shared with the mirror module (Empirical Project in Marketing) in the Business school.
Assessment
100%: Written assessment (Report)
