Business Analysis and Consulting (974N1)

15 credits, Level 7 (Masters)

Spring teaching

The module aims to improve your consultancy skills, i.e., enabling you to provide “practical advice that works” for your clients. Drawing from the approach of Deloitte, it adopts a generalist stance to consulting rather than a specialized on (e.g., on HR and tax).

Two key themes are:

  • Consultancy content: Including various problem identification and problem-solving approaches. This helps you to develop some key business process and data analytics skills that are crucial in businesses today.
  • Consultancy form: It comprises best practices for succeeding in consultancy projects, including: managing consultancy projects and maintaining a client-oriented attitude.

You will practice the learned concepts by running a consultancy project using a case and an accompanying dataset.
