Spring teaching

This module provides an insight into the law and practice of business organisations, including their formation and management.

We will consider all forms of business entity and the practical implications of such entities entering into binding contracts, the issue of liabilities and the protection conferred on management, investors and other stakeholders.

This module offers an academically stimulating orientation toward key aspects of Business Law and Practice element of SQE I for those students who intend to qualify as a solicitor.

MCQ forms part of the assessment for this module, in line with the SQE.

Contact hours and workload

This module is approximately 150 hours of work. This breaks down into about 22 hours of contact time and about 128 hours of independent study. The 5X社区视频 may make minor variations to the contact hours for operational reasons, including timetabling requirements.
