On this module, you'll learn about global capital markets, looking at the decision-making process of international companies, and studying the issues surrounding multinational financial management.
This includes:
- international monetary systems
- exchange rate regimes
- tax rules and legal and institutional complexities.
You'll also study risk factors for multinational companies, including fluctuations in foreign exhange rates and look at key financial instruments.
Other topics include:
- measuring and managing currency exchange risk
- capital budgeting for multinational cooperations
- the implications of the financial crisis (2007-2009) on global companies.

Contact hours and workload
