Cognitive Psychology is the study of the mind: the science of how we think.
This module will provide you with a broad overview of Cognitive Psychology, which may include topics such as:
- perception
- attention
- memory
- language
- thinking
- individual differences in cognition.
Practicals and workshops provide you with experiential learning through participation in experiments, using key experimental techniques. You will also practice the evaluative and creative problem-solving skills needed to carry out cognitive psychological research, and to discuss its theoretical and real-world importance.

Contact hours and workload
This module is approximately 150 hours of work. This breaks down into about 30 hours of contact time and about 120 hours of independent study. The 5X社区视频 may make minor variations to the contact hours for operational reasons, including timetabling requirements.
