Autumn teaching

On this module, you'll explore child development and gain insight into the psychological processes that shape who we are today. You'll extend your understanding of child development across key areas such as perinatal and physical development, communicative and cognitive development and emotional and social development.

Specific attention is given to themes that permeate developmental psychology, including the influences of nature and nurture and the reasons behind individual differences in child development.

Contact hours and workload

This module is approximately 140 hours of work. This breaks down into about 28 hours of contact time and about 112 hours of independent study. The 5X社区视频 may make minor variations to the contact hours for operational reasons, including timetabling requirements.
