I have delegated the management of my Outlook calendar to my colleague but I still receive all the meeting-related messages. How can I stop this happening?

The instructions below are for Outlook 2013 or 2010.

If you have already set up someone to manage your meetings but do not want to receive any meeting related-messages then:

  1. Select the File tab.
  2. Click Account Settings, and then click Delegate Access.
  3. Select the required person and click Permissions
  4. If you want them to do everything connected with your diary then select Editor (can read....)
  5. Tick Delegates receive copies of meeting-related messages sent to me

This is where you are also able to choose whether or not to allow your private calendar items to be viewed.

Send meeting requests to delegates only
If you do not want to receive email messages each time the delegate deals with your calendar then at the bottom of the dialog box click My delegates only as shown below or choose one of the other options.
