Tutors can, if necessary, record the fact that a teaching session has been cancelled due to illness, absence, etc.
If you record the cancellation BEFORE the session is due to occur, the students concerned will be notified by email and by text message (if they have signed up to receive texts).
To cancel a teaching session from Sussex Direct, go to your Teaching page, click on the 'All Sessions' link for the teaching group in question, and then click on the 'Cancel Session' button for the session you wish to cancel.
