Module Outline
This module will enable you to explore a range of topical controversies which stem from a variety of areas of applied psychology for example occupational, environmental and forensic psychology. Students will evaluate theories and ideas with respect to empirical data, and will learn how to apply the findings of Psychology to everyday experience.
Module learning outcomes
Demonstrate knowledge of key issues in applied psychology.
Communicate critical and theoretical ideas pertaining to Applied psychology clearly, within the framework of academic writing conventions appropriate to foundation year study
Demonstrate an understanding of research methods used in the study of Applied Psychology.
