Module Outline
This module is an introduction to the fundamentals of computer-aided design software and its relevance, limitations, and application within the product design industry and the design development process. This module is divided into two parts and covers software programs such as: “Solidworks and Adobe Dimension.
Introduction to the basic tools, techniques, and operations will be given as a starting point to master each program, the student will then practice the skills they have learned by being introduced to a hands-on project(s), the results of which will be presented and assessed at the end of each introductory topic.
